Inspired by the thought-provoking chapter "The Politics of Hair: From Exfoliation to Expropriation," our inaugural women's curation delves into the profound symbolism of hair as more than just strands but as a narrative of power, appropriation, and resistance.

Influenced by the poignant narrative of hair theft as depicted in the vivid settings of Jozi CBD, we draw parallels to the historic injustices of land expropriation in South Africa, notably exemplified by the Native Land Act of 1913. This collection serves as a poignant reflection on the symmetries between the theft of hair and the displacement of natives, sparking a dialogue on the enduring legacies of colonialism and systemic oppression.

Each garment in this collection embodies a political statement, quite literally. From bold slogans to intricate patterns, our pieces are designed to provoke thought and ignite conversations about societal inequalities and the ongoing struggle for justice.

Discover your voice through fashion and make a statement that resonates far beyond the realm of style. Join us in reclaiming narratives, challenging norms, and advocating for change with every step you take in our politically charged apparel.
